Junior Data Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst / MIS Specialist with strong expertise in Power BI, Advanced Excel, and basic DAX to support our Talent Acquisition and HR teams. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
• Create, maintain, and optimize Workday reports and dashboards, including Advanced Reports, Matrix Reports, Composite Reports, and dashboard solutions to support Talent Acquisition and HR stakeholders.
• Partner with HR and TA teams to leverage Workday reporting capabilities for hiring analytics, workforce reporting, and operational insights.
• Write and optimize basic to intermediate DAX queries for data modeling and reporting
• Analyze recruitment and HR data (e.g., hiring metrics, funnel analytics, TAT, sourcing effectiveness)
• Build and maintain MIS reports for leadership reviews (weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc)
• Work with large datasets using Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Macros preferred)
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across multiple data sources (ATS, HRMS, etc.)
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR stakeholders to identify reporting needs and insights
• Automate recurring reports and improve reporting efficiency
• Identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights to improve hiring outcomes

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in Data Analysis / MIS / Reporting roles
• Hands-on experience with: Power BI (mandatory)
• DAX (basic to intermediate level)
• Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, formulas, data cleansing)
• Workday Reporting including Advanced Reports, Matrix Reports, Composite Reports, and Calculated Fields
• Experience extracting, validating, and analyzing data from Workday HCM
• Experience working with HR, Recruiting, or Talent Acquisition data (preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights for business stakeholders
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
