Junior Dashboard Developer

Residency All applicants must currently reside in the United States Overview BigBear.ai is seeking a Junior Dashboard Developer to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of dashboards and reporting capabilities supporting the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). This role will help deliver visualizations and reporting used to track program performance, operational outcomes, and emerging AI pilot initiatives. The ideal candidate has experience creating dashboards and data visualizations and is comfortable working with data, reporting tools, and integrated data sources. What You Will Do Develop, enhance, and maintain dashboards and reporting solutionsCreate data visualizations that communicate program performance and operational metricsWork with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective dashboard solutionsSupport data analysis and reporting activities using multiple data sourcesPerform testing, troubleshooting, and validation of dashboards and reportsIdentify and resolve data or visualization issuesSupport documentation of dashboard functionality, data sources, and reporting processesHelp ensure dashboards provide accurate, clear, and actionable information to stakeholdersCollaborate with technical and functional team members in a fast-paced environment What You Need To Have Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field2+ years of relevant professional experienceExperience creating dashboards and data visualizationsFamiliarity with reporting and data analytics conceptsExperience supporting testing, troubleshooting, and documentation activitiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholdersU.S. Citizenship is requiredAbility to obtain and maintain a DHS/TSA Moderate-Risk Public Trust or equivalent federal suitability determination What We'd Like You To Have Experience with Microsoft Power BI or similar data visualization platformsWorking knowledge of SQL and data analysis fundamentalsExperience using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reportingUnderstanding of dashboard development and reporting best practicesExperience working with integrated or multiple data sourcesExperience supporting federal or enterprise reporting environmentsExisting or prior TSA/DHS Public Trust clearance is strongly preferredLocal to the Springfield, VA area is preferred Pay transparency Please note the targeted compensation range is provided as an estimate, and any actual compensation offer may vary depending on the needs of the company, or an applicant's skillset, competencies, experience, education, certifications, location, or other factors.
