Responsibilities
- Assess current system security by identifying vulnerabilities and security measures
- Assist in analysis and mitigation of security vulnerabilities
- Perform and report on penetration testing of systems, including cloud environments, following established methodologies
- Stay updated on current attack vectors and exploitation methods for computer networks
- Develop or modify tools for automated discovery or exploitation using scripting languages
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 1 year of related experience, or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree
- Basic understanding of networking and security principles
- Experience with evaluating system security configurations
- Understanding of common Web Application vulnerabilities (e.g., SQLi, XSS, CSRF, HTTP Flooding)
- Experience with penetration testing tools like Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap
- Familiarity with network routing & switching fundamentals and assessing network device configurations
- Active Secret security clearance
- US citizenship
