Junior Penetration Tester

We're working with a leading consulting firm that helps organizations achieve their technology, business advisory, and life sciences goals, boasting nearly 40 years of expertise in expanding client capacity and accelerating meaningful outcomes. The Role Support security assessments across web applications, infrastructure, cloud environments, and related technologies Develop test plans and perform vulnerability and risk analyses Automate testing processes and develop customized testing scripts Map findings to NIST SP 800-53 controls to support compliance and strengthen security posture Conduct security testing of IT assets, web, mobile, and custom applications, as well as cloud implementations Evaluate the effectiveness of security controls and develop required reports What You'll Need Knowledge and experience with manual host testing per CIS benchmarks Strong knowledge of and experience with Burp Suite and Qualys 3+ years of experience in the information technology field Knowledge of Nessus and OWASP Top 10 Some penetration testing experience Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field preferred and industry standard certification (e.g., Security+) strongly preferred What's On Offer Opportunity to work on a w2 basis with a great benefits package Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits 401k with company matching and life insurance Competitive hourly rate of $30.00 to $40.00/hr. w2 Apply via Haystack today!
