Junior Communications Subject Matter Expert (SME)

About the role

A dynamic and innovative Junior Communications Subject Matter Expert (SME) is needed to join our team. This role will support the development and execution of internal and external communications strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective internal and external communication plans
• Manage the creation and distribution of press releases and media statements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms
• Monitor and analyze communication effectiveness through feedback and analytics
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in communications

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in communications or a related field
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities
• Experience with social media platforms and digital marketing tools

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with public relations software and tools
• Knowledge of SEO and content optimization

Pay

Salary range: $50,000 - $70,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
