Junior Buyer/Planner

About the role

A Junior Buyer/Planner is needed to support the procurement team in sourcing and negotiating materials for various projects. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills and an understanding of market trends.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze market trends to identify potential suppliers
• Negotiate contracts and purchase orders with vendors
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery
• Prepare reports and presentations to present findings and recommendations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

• Experience with procurement software such as SAP or Oracle
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in procurement
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
