Your tasks Process purchase orders accurately and timely based on approved requisitionsServe as the primary point of contact between internal stakeholders and external vendors, ensuring clear communication of technical requirements, delivery timelines, and order specificationsEnsure order acknowledgements from vendors are received & recordedCoordinate with the internal requestor or warehouse/logistics to confirm receipt of goods/servicesHandle discrepancies in shipments (missing items, damaged goods) and resolve them with vendorsSet up, maintain and update the data of approved vendors in the ERP systemAssist in conducting vendor performance evaluations based on lead times, quality, and reliabilityAssist Senior Buyers in negotiating contracts and terms of serviceProvide reports and support in vendor management tasksSupport and act as backup for other team members in their tasksPerform other duties as assigned by manager Your Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Economics, or a related field or equivalent experience in lieu of Bachelor’s degreeProficiency in Microsoft OfficeExperience with ERP software (specifically SAP) is a significant advantageStrong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating internally and externallyHigh level of accuracy in data entry and documentationA proactive approach to resolving supply chain disruptionsExceptional time-management skills and the ability to juggle multiple deadlinesComfort switching between buying physical goods and intangible servicesThis position might require the use of information or access to hardware, which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure and job-related skills.
