Junior Business Program Analyst
About the role
Chevo is seeking a Business/Program Analyst to provide administrative and analytical support for our federal client's Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) Services Branch. The individual in this role will assist COR Services Staff — including CORs, AORs, and FAORs — in managing award files, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, tracking deadlines, and supporting internal operational functions such as workload tracking, internal control reviews, and audit readiness. The COR Services Branch provides acquisition oversight and administrative support across a growing portfolio of awards, including Contracts, Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs), and Cooperative Agreements (CAs). This position is in a hybrid work environment, located in Lakewood, CO, with potential for partial remote work. Support shall be provided during standard government business hours, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.
Responsibilities
- Support documentation and compliance requirements across all award types, including reviewing award files for required documentation, tracking training compliance for COR Services Staff, maintaining logs of certifications, training, and mandatory updates, and supporting internal reviews and facilitating audit-readiness activities.
- Support branch-level administrative operations including workload tracking, data analysis, and internal control reviews, assisting with workload distribution tracking, supporting internal control reviews for contracts, OTAs, and CAs, and preparing data summaries and trend reports for leadership.
- Conduct deliverables and milestone tracking on a weekly basis, perform internal control file reviews monthly, produce summary reports monthly or as requested, and complete award file updates on a continuous basis based on performer submissions.
- Complete routine actions within one business day, ensuring tracking logs, summaries, and compliance documentation are accurate with few recurring errors.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in acquisition, compliance, or award administration.
- Experience supporting statutory and regulatory documentation requirements.
- Ability to support internal control reviews and audit preparation activities.
- Willingness to receive a National Agency Check with Written Inquiries (NACI) security background check, in accordance with Homeland Security Presidential Directive-12 (HSPD-12).
Qualifications
- Previous experience with the Department of the Interior (DOI) is desired.
Pay
Salary range: $60,000 – $70,000 (subject to change). Eligible for performance-based bonus.
