Junior Business Operations Specialist
About the role
MANTECH seeks motivated, career and customer-oriented Junior Business Operations Specialist to join our team in Oahu Hawaii.
Responsibilities
- Drafts initial administrative logs, basic meeting summaries, and routine administrative documentation under close supervision.
- Assist in data entry for program metrics and follow established templates for document preparation.
- Organize internal files and digital repositories to support programmatic documentation requirements.
- Supports daily Program Office tracking by collecting task status updates and organizing administrative schedules for senior review.
- Assist in the physical coordination of meeting spaces, draft simple responses to routine correspondence, and update internal action-item tracking lists according to standard operating procedures.
- Prepare basic documentation packages for incoming personnel onboarding and track the status of base access requests within the theater.
- Takes direction, guidance, and mentoring from more senior staff.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Communications, or a related field (High School and 4 years of additional relevant experience or Associate's Degree and 2 years of additional relevant experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor's degree).
Preferred Qualifications: Basic knowledge of office automation tools and calendar management; foundational familiarity with Military Program Office administration or technical documentation.
Clearance Requirements: Must have a current/active Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements: The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
