Junior Automotive Technician

About the Role

Greg’s Automotive is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our team. As a Junior Automotive Technician, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles efficiently and effectively, adhering to MAP guidelines and dealership, manufacturer, and Greg’s Automotive standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicles according to certification level and experience.
• Perform work outlined on Multi-point Inspections and/or Repair Orders with efficiency and accuracy.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals, including Store Managers, Service Consultants, and customers.
• Recommend necessary services to keep customer vehicles in running condition and document all recommendations in customer files.
• Follow all safety procedures and report concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Maintain and renew appropriate ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer a minimum of one unexpired ASE certification or equivalent experience/training.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, Monday-Friday.

Pay

$28-$40/hr, varies depending on experience.
