Junior Architectural Designer/ Lighting Designer

Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Architectural Designer to join our small team. Currently, we have a portfolio of high-end retail, hospitality, and residential lighting design projects in addition to our interior architecture work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural, interior, and/or lighting design and experience in residential and retail/hospitality projects.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with owner/designer to understand client needs and preferences for architectural, interior design, and lighting design projects.
• Create detailed architectural drawings in AutoCAD 2026 and Revit 2025.
• Create Lighting Specification packages and Schedules.
• Incorporate graphic design elements into presentations and project documentation as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to enhance design quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field is a MUST.
• Minimum 1 year experience working in design firm.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Autodesk Forma (BIM Design Collaboration).
• Strong understanding of schematics, CAD principles, system design, and graphic design techniques.
• Experience in producing architectural drawing sets.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A portfolio showcasing previous architectural work is required for consideration.

Pay

Hourly pay based on experience. Approximately 20 hours per week with the option to move to a full-time position for the right candidate.
