Junior Architect (Staten Island, NY)

Job Summary

Architectural firm located in Staten Island, New York, seeking a Junior Architect for various project types. Giuseppe Bonomo Architecture is poised to grow, and this position would be a key pillar in helping to drive that growth.

Location

The office is located within one block of the Staten Island Rapid Transit and bus stop. This is an in-person position. If you cannot be physically in the office, please do not apply.

Candidate Qualifications

• Organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task between different projects
• Architectural production drawing candidate with a minimum of 3 years of recent experience with wood frame construction
• Experienced with filing applications at the Department of Environmental Protection for House and Site Connections, Cross Connection Control Unit, Department of Transportation for Builders Pavement Plans, and Department of Parks and Recreation for tree planting
• CAD drafting experience
• Residential and wood frame construction drawing experience, a must
• Exceptional drawing and graphic skills
• Working knowledge of NYC Department of Buildings procedure
• Well organized and able to interact with clients
• Possess Working knowledge of NYC Department of Buildings procedure
• Self-motivated, well-rounded, and capable of multi-tasking across projects with minimal supervision
• Possess Working knowledge of NYC Department of Buildings procedure
