Junior Architect in nyc

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with a Senior Architect in the development of a project from schematic design through end of construction.
• Draft architectural drawings for SD, DD and CD Phases.
• Material research and technical detailing.
• Attend client planning calls and take meeting notes.
• Attending site visits and meetings with Senior Architect.
• Cook up consultant teams.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 3 years of experience, including at least 1 year in a project leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience with high-end residential projects (townhouses and custom homes strongly preferred).
• NYC construction drawing set experience is a plus.
• Strong command of design development, technical detailing, and construction documentation.
• Proficiency and experience in consultant coordination.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Deep understanding and curiosity of materials and construction systems.
• Able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining design and technical rigor.
