Junior Analyst

Responsibilities
- Perform inventory reconciliation; utilize ERP data and documentation to research and explain variances.
- Identify potential process, training, or system issues and escalate to management.
- Maintain a detailed schedule for ledger reconciliations and prepare monthly journal entries.
- Communicate with other departments to understand transaction activities and resolve issues.
- Assist with transaction corrections, system cleanup, and process follow-up when needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum Associate degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum one year of experience in accounting or finance, including reconciliation (2+ years preferred). Relevant internships or co-op experience may apply.
- Working knowledge of GAAP concepts and account reconciliation principles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- Experience using ERP or accounting systems (2+ years preferred); experience using Global Shop Solutions a plus.
- 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Prior government contractor experience a plus.
- Experience with modeling in Excel preferred, including nested formulas, pivot tables, and math and logic formulas.
