Junior Aerodynamics Modeling and Simulation Engineer (ES1)
About the role
Epsilon C5I is a 100% employee-owned company founded in 1998. We are seeking a Junior Aerodynamics Modeling and Simulation Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Generate and maintain digital models of aerodynamic systems in accordance with well-established production procedures.
- Analyze scenarios, predict aerodynamic results and compare with digital simulation.
- Conduct post processing and data reduction.
- Write analysis reports and develop briefings.
- Work independently and in a team environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 0-4 years of experience creating digital aerodynamic models.
- Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens.
- Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance, with SCI eligibility.
- Experience working with TMAP models.
- Knowledge of MATLAB, Simulink and TMAP/ITASE.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must have an active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance, with SCI eligibility.
- Experience working with TMAP models.
- Knowledge of MATLAB, Simulink and TMAP/ITASE.
