Aerodynamics & Performance Engineer (All Experience Levels)

JOB SUMMARY

Agilis is seeking Aerodynamics/Performance Engineers with various levels of experience to contribute to the design and development of complex machines. The role involves directing and shaping detailed aerodynamic and/or performance solutions concurrently with mechanical and structural design.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Responsibilities/Duties:
  • Perform aerodynamic and performance analyses in a timely manner.
  • Prepare analytical reports consistent with Agilis Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
  • Create new or modify existing tools as needed.
  • Maintain proficiency with Agilis and customer-required analysis tools through training and use.
  • Discuss analytical issues with customers using sketches, plots, and other devices.
  • Collect and research data, perform preliminary or final analyses, and organize documentation.
  • Work collaboratively on teams, participate in customer reviews, and provide in-house support and mentoring.
  • Identify and resolve problems, develop solutions, and assist others in using techniques and tools.
• Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering (e.g., mechanical, aerospace).
  • Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook (or similar programs).
  • Thorough knowledge of engineering methods, tools, and procedures.
  • Ability to perform analyses using appropriate tools, including hand calculations, spreadsheets, and software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance (if required).
• Physical Demands:
  • Able to sit for long periods.
  • Able to work at a computer desk or workstation.
  • Able to perform light physical duties such as lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs.
