Junior Accountant / Accountant Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Accountant / Accounting Assistant to assist the accounting department in its daily operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an individual to learn and grow your career as you learn our business model.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized financial records
• Reconcile monthly bank statements to ensure general ledger accuracy
• Assist with processing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) invoices
• Help the team prepare schedules and adjustments for month-end closing
• Respond professionally to internal and external customer billing inquiries
• Support the accounting department with various administrative and clerical tasks
• Review and process expense reports
• Pull requested invoices, receipts, and ledger schedules for external auditors
• Organize and digitize physical accounting documents to maintain tax compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 3 years combined accounting/business working experience
• Basic proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) is highly preferred
• SAP Business One experience a plus
• Strong attention to detail, good time management, and clear communication skills

Pay

$55,000–$70,000 annually
