Junior Account Manager

About the role

Huisong is a global supplier of botanical extracts, herbal raw materials, and functional ingredients serving the nutraceutical, food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries. Our customers use our ingredients in dietary supplements, functional foods, beverages, and other health-focused products. We are looking for a motivated Junior Account Manager to join our team in Santa Ana.

Responsibilities

• Support new and existing customer relationships across North America.
• Assist with customer inquiries, pricing requests, RFQs, sample requests, and follow-up.
• Identify new business opportunities with supplement brands, manufacturers, contract manufacturers, and distributors.
• Cook up product samples, customer feedback, and internal follow-up.
• Cook with internal teams, including Sales, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Marketing.
• Maintain accurate customer notes, sales activity, and pipeline updates in the CRM system.
• Learn about botanical extracts, herbal raw materials, nutraceutical applications, and industry trends.
• Participate in customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events as needed.

Requirements

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

• Strong follow-up, organization, and attention to detail.
• A self-motivated, reliable, and team-oriented individual.
• Experience in sales, customer service, account management, business development, or a customer-facing role.
• An interest or experience in nutraceuticals, dietary supplements, food ingredients, wellness, nutrition, or related industries.
• Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate professionally with customers and internal teams.

Pay

$50,000 - $60,000 per year, plus commission.

Schedule

This is an onsite position based in our Santa Ana, California office. Candidates should be local to Orange County or able to reliably commute to the office. Remote work and relocation assistance are not available for this position.
