About the role
This role involves utilizing the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by team members. The nurse will coordinate patient care across departments, uphold patient rights and confidentiality, and perform duties aligned with organizational standards and values. The position is for an Emergency Department RN in a 24/7, 26-bed facility serving the community, supported by care techs and paramedics.
Responsibilities
- Manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4
- Work with a motivated team
- Provide care in a trauma-rated, pediatric-free ED
Requirements
- Current RN or compact license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- ACLS and BLS certifications
