About the role

The Junior HCMS Analyst supports the HCMS team by collecting, organizing, and analyzing workforce data to improve decision-making across recruitment, retention, performance, and compliance. This role is ideal for someone early in their HR or analytics career who enjoys working with data, optimizing processes, and maintaining high-quality HR systems.

Responsibilities

  • HR Data reporting — Maintain recurring HR reports while ensuring data accuracy across systems.
  • Ad-hoc reporting — Produce one-off reports and data pulls for HR leadership, Finance, and operational teams as needed.
  • I-9 maintenance — Manage I-9 documentation, maintain system hygiene, ensure timely reverifications, and maintain compliance with federal employment eligibility requirements.
  • Monthly license verifications — Conduct monthly checks of employee professional licenses and certifications, document results, and escalate discrepancies.
  • AI technology adoption and maintenance — Monitor HR chatbot performance and flag issues or optimization opportunities.
  • System maintenance — Update employee records, audit data quality, and support enhancements to HR systems.
  • DocuWare file uploads — Upload and organize new-hire documents into DocuWare, ensuring accurate indexing and secure storage.
  • Compliance & documentation — Support audits, maintain required documentation, and ensure adherence to HR policies and regulatory standards.
  • Process improvement — Identify inefficiencies in HR workflows and recommend data-driven improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with HRIS and ATS platforms (UKG, Dayforce, iCIMS, etc.).
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and communicate insights clearly.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Power BI, or other visualization tools.
  • Internship or 1 year of experience in HR, analytics, or operations.
  • Understanding of HR metrics such as turnover, time-to-hire, and engagement scores.
