Job Responsibilities

Salary: Starting at $70,000 USD per year

Magna is seeking a motivated and curious Junior Full Stack Developer to support the development and maintenance of cloud-native, enterprise-grade applications.

Who We Are Looking For

• 1–2 years of professional software development experience (internships, co-ops, or relevant academic projects are acceptable)
• Experience developing applications using at least one backend and one frontend technology in a production or project setting
• Backend & API Development: Basic to intermediate experience with Golang or a strong willingness to learn Golang
• Familiarity with RESTful API concepts and HTTP fundamentals
• Frontend Development: Experience building user interfaces using React or another modern JavaScript framework
• Working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Familiarity with component-based UI development and basic state management
• Cloud & DevOps: Basic understanding of cloud concepts; experience with AWS is a plus
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications is desirable
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines or automated deployments is a plus, but not required
• Software Engineering Practices: Understanding of core software engineering principles and data structures
• Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies
