Description
The Entwistle Company is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Cost Estimator to join their collaborative and innovative environment. This role involves building mission-critical components that support U.S. and allied defense, directly contributing to national and global security.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop cost estimates for manufacturing projects in support of sales to the Department of War or other defense companies.
- Create Basis of estimate documents to support and explain cost estimates.
- Support product costing, budgeting, and forecasting efforts as assigned.
- Affiliate in estimating costs to complete for ongoing projects or production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data discrepancies or reporting issues.
- Identify and report process or system inefficiencies encountered during daily tasks.

Requirements
- 5-7 years estimating experience, Costing for manufacturing products, and/or Defense related products a plus
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
- Solid understanding of estimating procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable using ERP systems.
- AI query experience a plus.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage complexity, work independently, and navigate cross-functional environments.
- Curious, proactive, and comfortable identifying and communicating potential issues.
- Focused, organized, and interested in process improvement.
