About the role
As a Jr. Estimator, you will:
- Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates for construction projects.
- Utilize estimating software such as Excel, Agtek, and Bluebeam to create detailed estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to ensure accurate pricing and scope of work.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather necessary data for estimates.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and techniques to provide informed estimates.

- Interest in construction estimating or a related field.
- Some knowledge of construction processes, materials, and techniques.
- Ability and openness to learn estimating software such as Agtek Excel and Bluebeam.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail in cost control measures.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, contracts, and specifications effectively.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
Qualifications
- A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Skills
- Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and techniques.
- Ability to learn estimating software such as Agtek Excel and Bluebeam.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail in cost control measures.

Pay
- Salary range: $50,000 - $75,000 annually.
Schedule
- 8-hour shift.
- Monday to Friday.
- No weekends.
