Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service at all times
  • Establish methods and procedures to ensure productivity is maintained at an optimum level
  • Removes obstacles, allows for and contributes needed resources; coordinates work efforts with others
  • Ensure that the facility and equipment is maintained in a safe and clean condition
  • Monitor supplier performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and take corrective actions as needed
  • Review customer orders to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Analyze replenishment orders
  • Communicate with customer including but not limited to receipt of orders, shipping, claims, etc.
  • Sets up new customers in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to aerospace procurement
  • Communicates information and instructions clearly and effectively
  • Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings, supplier performance, and supply chain KPIs
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

  • Must have a high school education or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement preferably within the aerospace industry preferred
  • Strong knowledge of aerospace materials, components, and manufacturing processes
  • Familiarity with aerospace industry regulations and standards (e.g., AS9100, ITAR, EAR)
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams)
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Self – motivated and quick learner with the ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to inclusion
  • Team player and ability to motivate the team members
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills

Special Requirements

U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required. ITAR requirement 120.15. Some positions will require current U.S. Citizenship due to contract requirements.

This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”).
