Jr Business Development Manager - SC

About the role

The Budd Group is now hiring a Junior Business Development Manager in Charleston. This role is not just about providing facility services; it's about creating solutions that help neighbors thrive.

Responsibilities

• Hunt & Gather: Research and qualify leads to identify new partnerships for janitorial and specialty service lines.
• Start the Conversation: Drive the sales pipeline through outbound cold calling and securing in-person meetings.
• Be the Expert: Deliver digital and in-person presentations showcasing how The Budd Group can simplify clients' lives.
• Grow with Us: Support the AVP in closing contracts and identifying upsell opportunities within the existing client base.
• Be Present: Represent The Budd Group at trade shows, networking events, and community gatherings.

Requirements

• Some experience in route sales, call centers, or inside sales.
• Comfortable speaking in public and writing effective follow-up emails.
• Tech-savvy with proficiency in Google/Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM tools.
• Resilient, able to handle objections gracefully, and focused on achieving goals.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to present effectively both digitally and in person.
• Experience with CRM tools (optional).
