Journeyworker II - Electrical

Responsibilities

• Manages daily production tasks.
• Follows company safety standards.
• Executes assigned tasks for electrical installation.
• Manages installations to meet all plans, specifications, applicable codes, or other governing documents.
• Requests direction and clarification from supervisor on production goals.
• Completes tasks in a timely fashion as assigned by supervisor.
• Possesses advanced expertise in all aspects of trade-related materials, components, equipment, systems, methods of installation, safety procedures, safe work practices, sizing, and other calculations, use of hand and power tools.
• Demonstrates proficiency and familiarity with use of proper hand and power tools and operation of related equipment.
• Models and mentors safe work practices at all times to co-workers and other industry team partners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Four to five years or more related experience and/or training.
• Commercial electrical experience required.

Skills

• Knowledge in the use of NEC (National Electrical Code) book as reference material in performing or directing the performance of work.
• Knowledge of Veregy’s services and processes.
• Ability to read and accurately interpret project-related drawings and documentation.
• Effective communication skills.
• Time management and workload management skills.
• Ability to respond to inquiries and complaints.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to work under deadline pressure.
