About the role
Responsible for designing and constructing steel structures according to blueprints and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and erect steel beams, columns, and other structural components using cranes and hoists.
- Inspect work for compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other tradespeople to ensure seamless integration of steel elements into building designs.
- Ensure adherence to quality control procedures and safety protocols.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- At least 2 years of related experience in construction or ironworking.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power equipment.
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 80 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
Skills
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction plans.
- Experience with welding and fabrication techniques.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Schedule
