How to Know if You're a Great Fit
- You ARE an Ironworker. Whether it's rigging, connecting, plumbing, or bolting, you've done it all when erecting steel.
- You're comfortable with reading plans.
- You're not afraid of heights.
- You don't wimp out and get whiny about the weather. It could be -10 degrees or 110 degrees — you know it's part of the job and are prepared for it.
- You understand the seriousness of the work and the importance of safety.
- You take pride in the work you do.
Responsibilities
- Keep the Project Moving: You are key to making sure that the work gets done so that the project keeps moving on schedule.
- Keep the Quality High: You make sure that nothing is missing, and that the work meets all standards. At the end of the day, you make sure that cleanup happens, and all materials are cared for.
- Keep Everyone Safe: You are not only responsible for your own safety but also the safety of the team members you are working with. If you see something that's out of line, you aren't afraid to call it out.
