Journeyman Shop Technician / Mechanic

Pape' Machinery, a premier capital equipment dealer in the West, is seeking a Journeyman Shop Technician to join their Construction & Forestry Division in Fremont, CA. What you'll do

• Work on construction and forestry equipment in the shop
• Ensure equipment repairs are done accurately and timely to support customers and maximize their uptime
• Take on tough jobs that require journeyman-level expertise
• Work alongside other trained Technicians in a shop with all the support and resources needed to perform top-notch work

Requirements

• 10 or more years of experience in diagnosing and repairing all makes and models of new and used heavy equipment
• Team-oriented personality with the focus and drive to work without direct supervision
• Discipline and skill to complete a technical diagnostic and repair training program
• Must provide own tools
• Ability to operate a lift truck and other heavy equipment (training provided)

Pay

$54.16/hr (This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement)
