Journeyman/Mechanic

Directly reports to: Jobsite Foreman

About the role

Electrical Mechanic for medium to large scale commercial projects. Location and hours of operation vary per jobsite.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation daily per foreman’s direction
• Possess complete knowledge of electrical drawings
• Responsible for managing and training apprentice
• Responsible for assisting in tracking job materials and tools
• Responsible for furthering education and knowledge of the electrical trade
• Promote company reputation

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a commercial electrician
• Licensed Journeyman preferred
• Degree preferred, but not required

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Able to work as a team and individually with a positive and professional attitude

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to bend and stretch overhead easily
• Ability to withstand prolonged periods of time in extreme heat or cold
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
• Good hand-eye coordination and endurance
• Good mobility (for shoveling, sweeping, etc.)
