Journeyman Sheet Metal Installer

Well-established non-union team supporting commercial and industrial clients in Cincinnati seeks experienced Journeyman Sheet Metal Installers. Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and other construction documents.
• Install and secure sheet metal products according to specifications.
• Inspect and measure sheet metal installations, products, and equipment for conformance to specifications.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools, and sheet metal machinery.
• Perform routine maintenance on sheet metal products and equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting parts.
• Work safely at heights and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials.
• Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and management.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction with services.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, and ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Journeyman Sheet Metal Installer or in a similar role.
• OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 Certification.
• Experience with sheet metal tools and machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
• Ability to safely work at heights and perform physically demanding tasks.
• HVAC Journeyman License.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a trade school or apprenticeship program completion is preferred.

Pay

Salary: $25 - $30 per hour.
