We are searching for a skilled and reliable professional to join our team, driving to various service locations and leading electrical service calls in commercial settings.
Responsibilities
- Drive to assigned service locations to perform electrical service calls, including troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and maintenance in commercial settings.
- Lead and supervise Service Technician Helpers or apprentices, providing guidance and support to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
- Prioritize safety during all service calls, ensuring compliance with established safety protocols, proper use of personal protective equipment, and maintenance of a safe work environment.
- Diagnose electrical issues accurately and provide effective solutions while ensuring all work complies with relevant electrical codes and regulations.
- Accurately document all work completed, including service reports, invoices, and relevant paperwork.
- Interact professionally with clients, addressing inquiries and concerns while delivering excellent customer service.
- Oversee the proper handling, organization, and maintenance of tools, materials, and equipment used during service calls.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, including Service Technician Helpers and other electricians, to ensure projects are executed efficiently and on schedule.
- Stay updated on industry trends, electrical codes, and emerging technologies to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Possession of a Texas Journeyman or Master electrical license.
- Significant experience in the electrical industry with a comprehensive understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and the capacity to oversee and mentor a team.
- Clean driving history along with a valid driver's license.
- Strong work ethic, timeliness, and dependability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to lift and transport heavy equipment and materials (up to 50 pounds).
- Willingness to work in diverse weather conditions, confined spaces, and at elevated heights while utilizing appropriate safety gear.
