About the role
As a Journeyman Electrician with Crusoe’s Manufacturing team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliable operation of our electrical systems. Your expertise will be crucial for installing, repairing, and maintaining these systems, directly impacting the efficiency and safety of our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Performing electrical installations of equipment in manufactured buildings, adhering to plans and specifications.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnosing and resolving electrical problems, utilizing your knowledge and experience to implement effective solutions.
- Maintenance: Conducting preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure their continued reliability and prevent future issues.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical procedures, blueprints, electrical schematics, service manuals, and work orders to guide your work.
- Tool Utilization: Using a variety of electrician tools and techniques to complete installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
- Safety Compliance: Adhering to all safety requirements and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Process Improvement: Continuously seeking opportunities to standardize practices and methods to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaboration: Working effectively with team members to ensure seamless project execution and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Electrical Training: Formal electrician training in a Journeyman schooling program.
- Valid Colorado Journeyman Electrician License: An active and clean Journeyman License.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using a wide variety of electrician tools and techniques.
- Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret electrical schematics and blueprints accurately.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and a willingness to learn from feedback.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift, lower, push, and pull items up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks associated with the role, such as standing, walking, stooping, and bending for extended periods.
- Work Ethic: Detail-oriented, a team player with a strong sense of self accountability and possess a good attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Background Check: Willingness to undergo a background and drug test.
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Safety and Compliance: This position is designated a safety-sensitive position and/or is located in a safety-sensitive facility. Drug and alcohol program participation is required.
