Journeyman Millwright (TIG Welding)

Greiner Industries is seeking a skilled Journeyman Millwright with expertise in TIG welding, industrial systems, and machinery to join our team. This role focuses on food-grade customers and requires TIG welding. The position provides on-site support and maintenance for industrial clients, ensuring machinery and equipment operate efficiently and reliably.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on maintenance on conveyors and other machinery.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and emergency repairs on machinery to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency at customer sites.
• Install new machinery or equipment as per client specifications, ensuring correct setup.
• Weld and fabricate (TIG, Stick, and Flux-Core).
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during service visits, maintaining professionalism and customer satisfaction.
• Communicate technical issues, repair plans, and recommendations clearly to customers.
• Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, use appropriate PPE, and observe all safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of time worked, travel expenses, and administrative tasks for billing and reporting.

Requirements

• Expertise in TIG welding and industrial machinery.
• Strong technical background and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in diverse environments, often under tight deadlines.
• Local travel required.

Pay

• Minimum: $24.00/hour
• Maximum: $35.00/hour
• $2,500 sign-on bonus
