We are looking for Industrial Journeyman Millwrights. How You Will Make An Impact Participate in the safety program, works to exceed all safety standards and requirements mandated by the mill and OSHA.Maintain mechanical components and perform machine alignment.Fabricate parts & equipment.Performs preventative maintenance duties on facility equipment.Communicate effectively across departments, excellent problem-solving skills.Ability to respond to emergency machine breakdowns in a timely manner and completes assigned task correctly and within the allotted time.Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvementAlignment with Smurfit Westrock's values of safety, loyalty, integrity and respect Required Qualifications What You Need to Succeed Millwright or Machine Repair Journeyman CardMust have an outstanding safety record and engage in safety activities across the millExcellent attention to detail and high standards for quality and precision of workMust be able to work alone with minimum supervision in a team conceptWillingness to work shift work and/or overtime when necessaryAble to work at heights, in confined space, ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Candidates are required to undergo a drug screening after receiving a conditional job offer, but before starting employment.
