Journeyman Construction Plumbing Tech

About the role

Responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. Must possess strong mechanical skills and knowledge of plumbing codes.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair various plumbing fixtures and systems
• Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations
• Communicate effectively with clients and other tradespeople
• Perform routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• At least 2 years of related work experience
• Knowledge of plumbing codes and safety standards

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good physical condition to perform manual labor

Skills

• Proficient in using hand and power tools
• Knowledgeable in plumbing systems and materials
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
