Journeyman Construction Plumbing Tech

About the role

Responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. Works closely with architects, engineers, and other tradespeople.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair plumbing fixtures and systems
• Perform inspections and tests to ensure compliance with codes and standards
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to OSHA guidelines

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Experience in construction or related field preferred
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• Knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office

Skills

• Proficient in using hand and power tools
• Good physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
