Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Study blueprints, sketches, or building plans for information pertaining to type of material required, such as lumber or fiberboard, and dimensions of structure or fixture to be fabricated.
- Select specified type of lumber or other materials.
- Prepare layout.
- Marks cutting and assembly lines on materials.
- Shape materials to prescribed measurements.
- Assemble cut and shaped materials and fastens them together with nails, dowel pins, or glue.
- Verify trueness of structure with plumb bob and carpenter's level.
- Respond to safety issues.
- Maintain and prepare work list for model stores.
- Aid in preparation of bill of material work list.
- Adhere to company guidelines.
- Troubleshoot and PM HVAC Equipment.
- Perform HVAC repairs.
- Assist with HVAC issues through control strategies and remote monitoring.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must submit to DL Monitoring
- Satisfactory performance reviews.
- Strong communication skills.
- Good communication skills with the stores.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand control strategies.
- Familiarity with power saws and related power and hand tools.
Education And Experience
- Associates Degree in Mechanical/HVAC/Electrical field of study or equivalent experience.
- Controls background/experience including PLC logic, remote monitoring, and electronics.
- Minimum 5 years of related experience as a Carpenter II and/or equivalent.
