About the role

Journey-Level Industrial Fabrication Welder (Automation & Process) is needed to join our team at Re:Build Manufacturing in Rochester, NY. This position involves working with advanced welding equipment and processes to fabricate and assemble metal components.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain automated welding systems and other fabrication equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Perform quality checks on fabricated parts to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Work collaboratively with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in industrial fabrication welding.
• Proficiency in using various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and oxy-fuel cutting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent, with an associate degree in welding or related field preferred.

Qualifications

• Welding certification from a recognized organization.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and practices in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Skills

• Advanced proficiency in welding machines and tools.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Pay

The starting hourly rate is 27 USD, with potential for growth based on performance and experience.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional overtime as needed.
