Journey Worker - Millwright

Responsibilities
- Install machinery and equipment using layout plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Dismantle, move, assemble, and install machinery using hoists, dollies, lifts, rollers, and rigging equipment.
- Precisely align machinery (shafts, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, mechanical systems) using micrometers, squares, optical alignment tools, plumb bobs, rules, and other precision instruments.
- Bolt, weld, rivet, and fasten components to foundations or supporting structures.
- Operate lathes, mills, and other shop machining equipment as needed.
- Perform rigging and crane work safely and efficiently; advanced rigging is a plus.
- Assist in mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance activities.
- Maintain awareness of construction and industrial site hazards; follow OSHA and company safety standards.
- Display a high level of craftsmanship and strong work ethic in all tasks.
Requirements
- Physically capable of climbing, lifting heavy objects, working from heights, and entering confined spaces.
- Ability to work in hot, cold, and outdoor environments in all weather conditions.
- Ability to read and write in English and understand mechanical drawings.
- Basic computer and communication skills.
- Regular full-time availability, working a 40-hour day schedule.
- Willingness to work overtime or flexible hours as required.
- Experience working as a millwright, mechanic, or industrial installer is helpful; advanced roles (L4–L5) require demonstrated mastery.
Qualifications
- Willingness to work on a diverse range of projects in various environments such as mills, plants, shops, fabrications, and field installations.
- Comfortable working independently but enjoying collaboration with engineers, machinists, fabricators, and project teams.
- Safety-focused, reliable, and committed to doing quality work the first time.
- Desire to grow from Level 1 to Level 5 through training, hands-on experience, and increasing responsibility.
- Energetic about contributing to the rebuilding of American manufacturing.

Benefits
The hourly rate for this position ranges from $27.00 to $55.00. This range reflects the company's good faith estimate of the base compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation is determined based on factors including relevant experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location. Additionally, this role may be eligible for annual incentive compensation and/or long-term incentives, subject to company plans. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
Pay
The hourly rate for this position ranges from $27.00 to $55.00.
Schedule
This role requires regular full-time availability, working a 40-hour day schedule. Overtime or flexible hours may be required as needed.
