Journey Maintenance Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and diagnoses problems, makes adjustments, repairs and/or performs preventative maintenance on computers, vehicles, equipment, or machinery, etc.
• Provides technical consultation to originators of project job orders, including development of project plans and related estimates.
• Buils, fabricates, or repairs structures, equipment, and/or miscellaneous articles from verbal instructions, blueprints and/or working drawings.
• Welds, solders, brazes, grinds, and/or fabricates various materials.
• Paints, finishes and refinishes wood, metal and other materials.
• Performs general facility maintenance including painting, carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical, as well as general cleaning and sanitation.
• Performs related plumbing, mechanical, painting and pipe fitting, etc., duties.

Qualifications

• The best qualified candidate for this position will have 3 or more years of experience in facility/building maintenance or an equivalent combination of relevant education, trade school experience, or other hands-on mechanical and/or electrical systems maintenance experience may be considered in place of the facility/building maintenance requirement.
• Preference may be applied to applicants who reside within 50 miles or 1 hour travel time to our location.
• Additional points will be awarded to candidates with experience in: Electrical systems. Heating and cooling systems. Culinary and waste water piping systems. Reading schematic drawings. Working with computer controls.
