Journey Maintenance/Construction Specialist
Key Responsibilities
Make repairs to or complete jobs in the following trades:
- Woodworking/Cabinetry
- Drywall repair
- Painting
- flooring - Commercial carpet squares and tiles
- Roof repair
- Windows
- Overhead doors
Operates, maintains, calibrates, and adjusts specialized equipment.
Troubleshoots and diagnoses problems, makes adjustments, repairs, and/or performs preventative maintenance on vehicles, equipment, machinery, etc.
Maintains accurate records and logs.
Qualifications
- Minimum or "day-one" qualifications: maintain and/or repair tools and equipment principles and practices of facilities operations, maintenance, and management
- Speak clearly, concisely and effectively; listen to, and understand, information and ideas as presented verbally
- Arrange, coordinate, or schedule time and details agency objectives, organization, structure and mission
- Run, maneuver, navigate, or drive vehicles or mechanized equipment
- Establish, organize and/or maintain files
