About the Role

We are seeking experienced employment litigators to join our team and handle a diverse caseload of plaintiff-side employment matters. This role involves representing workers in negotiations, administrative proceedings, and litigation against employers in state and federal courts.

Responsibilities

  • Represent employees in all phases of employment litigation, including case intake, pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trials, and appeals.
  • Handle claims involving wage and hour violations, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and whistleblower protections.
  • Conduct client consultations, assess legal claims, and develop case strategies.
  • Draft and argue motions, conduct depositions, and negotiate settlements.
  • Collaborate with co-counsel, experts, and support staff to advance cases.
  • Stay current on developments in employment law, including federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Engage in firm marketing, client development, and community outreach to grow the practice.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York State Bar and in good standing.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of litigation experience, with a focus on plaintiff-side employment law preferred.
  • Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Experience with class actions, collective actions, or complex litigation is a plus.
  • Commitment to representing workers and advancing employee rights.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with attention to detail and deadlines.
