JOPES Specialist

Deployment and Distribution

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee unit movement operations
• Ensure the efficient and secure transportation of personnel, equipment, and supplies

Logistics Planning

• Manage transportation and distribution activities
• Include intermodal operations, terminal and port coordination, and highway transportation

Operational Support

• Collaborate within the Joint Logistics Enterprise
• Coordinate movement operations with multinational partners, government agencies, and commercial transportation providers

Documentation and Safety

• Oversee the preparation, verification, and validation of movement documentation
• Affirm compliance with all applicable safety regulations and operational standards

Requirements:

• Active Secret Security Clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, or a related field required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience with the Joint Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES) required.
• A Warrant Officer background is preferred but can be senior enlisted or an officer (LTC and above)
