About the role
The Women Leaders for Planetary Health Fellowship empowers women professionals through interdisciplinary training in planetary health, leadership, and project implementation, fostering collaboration and a global network for sustainable solutions.
Objectives

Key Components
- Foundational Learning: Fellows participate in a series of online modules that introduce the principles of planetary health, climate and environmental justice, leadership, and systems thinking.
- Leadership and Coaching: Personalized coaching sessions guide fellows in building confidence, refining leadership styles, and aligning professional goals with planetary health priorities.
- Applied Projects: Each fellow develops and implements a small-scale Planetary Health Action Project, addressing a key challenge in her context—such as sustainable healthcare delivery, mental health and climate resilience, or community-based environmental health initiatives.
- Networking and Peer Exchange: The program fosters an international community of practice where fellows collaborate across disciplines, share challenges and solutions, and build lasting professional relationships.
- Capstone and Reflection: At the conclusion of the Fellowship, participants present their project outcomes and reflect on lessons learned, leadership growth, and pathways for ongoing impact.
