Overview
Nonprofits First is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to strengthening the administrative and operational capacity of nonprofit organizations in Palm Beach County. Composed of experienced executives, consultants, and volunteers, the organization aims to support local nonprofits in achieving their highest levels of success.
Who is Eligible?
The Executive Volunteer Corps is open to individuals with a minimum of five years of experience at the senior management level, including executive directors, chief executive officers, chief financial officers, CPAs, chief operating officers, human resource managers, or board members. These individuals bring expertise in various areas such as nonprofit administration, financial management, board governance, fundraising, and more.
What Will You Do?
- Verify nonprofit agencies' compliance with uniform standards related to excellence in nonprofit management.
- Provide guidance and support to nonprofit organizations through virtual sessions and web conferencing platforms.
- Offer expertise in areas such as nonprofit administration, financial management, board development, strategic planning, fundraising, human resource management, and more.
When Can You Join?
Opportunities are most frequent from April through October.
