Join Our Dedicated Postdoctoral Fellowship Program
About the role
Centered Mind Counseling Services is seeking a select cohort of postdoctoral psychologists to join our distinguished Postdoctoral Fellowship Program. Our commitment is to provide comprehensive support and preparation so that our fellows emerge as some of the most highly skilled, newly licensed psychologists in Washington State. We welcome candidates who specialize in working with children, teens, and adults across diverse areas of interest and clinical specialty.
Specialized Training Tracks
EMDR Therapy Specialization: Prepares fellows for specialized practice in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, with a focus on trauma, PTSD, and anxiety-related presentations across the lifespan. Fellows receive foundational EMDR training (Parts 1 and 2), engage in EMDR-specific supervision, and maintain a trauma-informed caseload.
Child, Family, and Couples Specialization: Designed for clinicians seeking to develop expertise in youth and relational systems, this track emphasizes evidence-based approaches for children, adolescents, and families. Fellows access a library of specialized continuing education through PESI, participate in focused supervision, and manage a caseload composed primarily of child, family, and relational cases. The program develops competencies including parent coaching, school consultation, and age-appropriate risk assessment.
Psychological Assessment Specialization: Provides comprehensive training in affirming, strengths-based, and culturally responsive psychological evaluations across the lifespan. Fellows receive 20 hours of didactic instruction and complete 12 comprehensive assessments. The program focuses on four core domains: ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Specific Learning Disorders (SLD), and psychiatric disorders, with a strong emphasis on differential diagnosis and neurodiversity-affirming report writing.
