- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Pay
Based on experience assigned on the Athletic Extra Duty Stipend
Responsibilities
- Helping build and maintain the boys' basketball program
- Helping maintain levels of competition
- Assisting with summer camps for current and prospective players
- Assisting in monitoring all athletes' academic progress
- Following and enforcing established eligibility requirements of District 12, KRC, and the IHSA
- Assisting with individual practices to provide individual and team development
- Following team rules and goals that are shared with players and parents
- Following established procedures in the event of an injury to an athlete
- Ensuring all athletes are supervised at all times when involved with team activities
- Acting as a positive role model and maintaining proper sportsmanship on the team at all times
- Assisting in maintaining an inventory of all equipment
- Attending professional development clinics/conferences specific to boys' basketball
