John Deere Turf Equipment Technician
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for diagnosing and repairing John Deere turf equipment. Setting up new John Deere turf equipment. Diagnosing, repairing and setting up a variety of Allied turf equipment.
Travel to golf courses, complexes and/or businesses in order to assist customers and address concerns, as needed
Able to work without immediate supervision for extended periods of time
Maintain all equipment and ensure tools are in good working condition
Maintain general housekeeping duties in shop and property maintenance
Work with the Service Manager to ensure consistent work flow
Must be a team player, that represents the company in a professional manner at all times
Help maintain and support safety policies
Maintain paperwork documentation
Working conditions can vary throughout the day; it can be cold, cool, warm, hot, wet, dry and/or dusty at times
Able to read, write and communicate with co-workers and managers
Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE AND REQUIREMENTS
- At least 3 years of experience on John Deere equipment or the equivalent with another golf/turf manufacturer required.
- Basic set of tools
COMPENSATION
Hourly position, Full-time Compensation: $33 - $38 DOE
