Essential Functions
- Assists in gathering logistical requirements for assigned projects (delivery areas, laydown yards, access points, etc.).
- Supports development and updates of jobsite logistics maps and delivery instructions.
- Captures and maintains accurate logs of inventory, deliveries, and material movements.
- Communicates logistics expectations to vendors and project teams under direction of JLC II or leadership.
- Coordinates with vendors to confirm shipment timing and resolve discrepancies.
- Aids in basic data collection (delivery accuracy, delays, material issues).
- Facilitates use of logistics and purchasing tools by field teams.
General Support
- Performs administrative and coordination tasks to support logistics operations.
- Aids JLC II and leadership with process improvements and data gathering.
- Aids JLC II and JLC III with time studies as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education And Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 0–2 years of experience in construction, logistics, warehouse, or supply chain preferred.
- Basic understanding of logistics, inventory, or construction workflows preferred.
- Exposure to construction jobsite operations is a plus.
Skills/Abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Able to follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs) for material handling and logistics processes.
- Able to learn and use logistics systems and tools, which could include systems such as Kojo, Bitrip, One Key, Samsara, JD Link, Microsoft Suite, and Bluebeam.
Work Environment
- Construction environment with frequent travel to jobsites.
- Must be able to talk and hear.
- Must be able to frequently sit.
- Must be able to occasionally stand, walk, climb, balance, crouch or crawl, stoop, and kneel.
- Must be able to safely operate a vehicle to travel to and from job sites.
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to safely maneuver in a construction environment.
